Human Resources Develepoment

The Human Resources Division of KITCO has been involved in entrepreneurship development programmes since 1977. Later, the division ventured into augmenting the employability of youth through Certification of Vocational Courses and Skill Certification Programmes.

  • KITCO is Assessing Body empanelled by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India for assessment of skills of candidates in all courses approved by NCVT under the Skill Deveopment Initiative scheme based on Modular Employable Skills.
  • Recruitment for Public Sector Organisations- conducting of written tests, trade tests and organising final interviews. Provides rich data base of qualified and experienced jobseekers for the benefit of employers.
  • Conducts Information, Education and Communication (IEC) programmes. Undertook the challenging year-long state wide campaign to spread awareness among the population on AIDS.
  • The division’s popular employment augmentation programmes helped hundreds of youth to attain gainful employment in various sectors.
  • Made presence in all South Indian States and Union Territories as Assessing Body for the NCVT certification based on Modular Employable Skills. Assessed more than 60,000 candidates till the year 2013.
  • When the Government of Kerala decided to conduct state wide campaign to spread awareness among the population on AIDS, it was KITCO that the challenging task was entrusted with.
  • Cochin Shipyard Ltd., Hindustan Insecticides Ltd., Vizhinjam International Seaports Ltd., Kerala SIDCO, Steel and Industrial Forgings Ltd., Kerala State Warehousing Corporation, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, SITAR (Bangalore) etc.
